Meet Mike Hawker, our dedicated and passionate Manager of Waikato Tree Services. With a wealth of experience in the industry, Mike has been working with trees since he was 15 years old. “Whether it’s been growing trees or learning how to cut them down, it’s all I’ve done.”, he says. Starting in a nursery and then venturing into forestry, he eventually found his calling in the Arboriculture/Utility industry in 2002.

When asked about the best thing about working at Waikato Tree Services, Mike is quick to highlight the people and the sense of positively impacting the wider community. He finds fulfilment in the camaraderie and teamwork that comes with the job, knowing that their work directly contributes to improving the environment and people's lives.
